Tottenham expert issues ‘desperate’ Richarlison claim pre-Wolves
Alan Hutton has claimed Tottenham forward Richarlison will be “desperate” to start against Wolves on Saturday.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and Aston Villa defender suggested the Brazilian will be granted his wish as he gives Antonio Conte’s side “something different”.
Richarlison, 28, was on the bench for the Lilywhites’ game against Chelsea on Sunday (14 August).
He replaced Ryan Sessegnon the second half of the 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.
Antonio Conte’s side welcome Wolves to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.
When asked if Conte could give the forward his first competitive start in the fixture, Hutton told Football Insider: “Yes.
“I think the way Tottenham ended the game against Chelsea it was really attacking. They had [Lucas] Moura, [Ivan] Perisic, Kulusevski, Richarlison so it could be.

“I think he gives you something a little bit different. He’s obviously aggressive in his play and he’ll be desperate for a start. The only thing I would say with that is that the front three at this moment in time picks itself. It’s always going to be difficult for him.
“He’s going to have to try and be that impact player for them moving forward. His opportunities will come of course, but can he play to that high level the way Son, Kulusevski and Kane do week in week out? That’s the question mark above his head.“
In other news, a Tottenham expert was thrilled by what he spotted Yves Bissouma doing from Chelsea away end.
