Tottenham expert shares ‘big’ Heung-Min Son prediction after ‘amazing’ thing he’s heard

Heung-Min Son could score 12 goals in his next eight Tottenham games after scoring his first goals of the season.

That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.

Son, 30, scored a hat-trick against Leicester last weekend (17 September) after being introduced from the substitutes bench with 30 minutes remaining.

The attacker had failed to score in eight total appearances this term and was dropped to the bench as a result.

After getting his first goals of the season, Wenham is expecting a glut of goals in the coming weeks.

“Son was rested, not dropped,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“I don’t want this to be a thing about players being dropped. All good squads have lots of options. It’s not about dropping people, he needed to be rotated.

“That’s why we signed Richarlison. It was a masterstroke from Conte when you look at the impact Son had on that game.

“The beauty of this is he will now go on a run. Son always does this. It takes a little while but he will now, if I was guessing, score 10 to 12 goals in the next eight or nine games.

“The beauty of that is then our next game after the international is our biggest game of the season in Arsenal away, hopefully, he can get a goal in that one. It would be a big help and absolutely brilliant for his confidence.

“It was an amazing sound around the stadium when the goals went in, everyone loves him so much.

That will only help his confidence too.”
