Tottenham expert shares new Postecoglou update – ‘It’s done, finished’
Ange Postecoglou has moved on already after his outburst to the media following the 2-0 Tottenham defeat against Man City.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Spurs star Paul Robinson insisted that the boss’ straight-talking and honest style meant he needed to address the issues, but they will now be in the past.
The manager, 58, was left fuming at the club and sections of the fanbase after it was suggested that they wanted to lose to Man City and deal a blow to Arsenal’s title hopes.
However, Postecoglou explained that he goes into every game wanting to win regardless of outside circumstances and could not understand the view of wanting to lose any match.

That outburst had led to suggestions that the boss could walk away from the job, with comparisons drawn to Antonio Conte, as shared by Football Insider.
Robinson, who remains well connected at former club Spurs and is an expert in the club, explained that Postecoglou will have learned from the situation and will understand the rivalry with Arsenal, while Spurs fans will also understand his point of view.
“I think it’s done. It’s finished,” he told Football Insider.
“The type of person that Ange seems to be and the way he comes across, he doesn’t seem to hold grudges.
“He’s honest, he’s open, he’s refreshing and he addresses the media and addresses situations when it’s needed.
“I think it’s done. He’s moved on.
“I think it’s opened his eyes to a certain section of the supporters and the fanbase, and probably the rivalry between the two clubs.
“He gets the rivalry, but he’s saying he wants to build success. This goes in line with everything he’s said before.

“He’s got his principles, he’s got his morals, he wants his teams to be challenging for trophies on a regular basis. I get it. I think the supporters get him as well.”
