Tottenham expert shares verdict on Heung-Min Son joining Liverpool in ‘£150m+’ deal after update
Liverpool would need to spend upwards of £150million to sign Heung-Min Son from Tottenham.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
On May 29, Alasdair Gold reported Liverpool were going to make an offer for Son if Tottenham had failed to qualify for the Champions League.

The 29-year-old finished joint-top scorer in the 2021-22 Premier League alongside Mohamed Salah.
Wenham insists Tottenham would never sell Son, even if Liverpool were to offer north of £150million.
“He’s good enough to play for Liverpool but he also signed a new five-year deal last summer,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“So were are talking £150million as an absolute minimum. This is the golden boot winner.
“He is also so marketable across Asian markets. I don’t see him going for that move anyway.
“He is very settled in London, living with his mum and dad. I think Son is on every major side’s transfer list, to be honest.
“The deal he signed last summer makes it very, very hard for any club to make an offer for him.
“It would have to be a Premier League record bid.”

The current Premier League record transfer is the £100million deal that saw Jack Grealish join Man City in the summer of 2021.
Son scored 24 goals and provided 10 assists in 40 total outings for Spurs during 2021-22.
In other news, a source has revealed Tottenham have told a midfielder to find a new club as asking price is revealed.
