Tottenham expert: Steven Bergwijn will join Ajax this summer – ‘It’s happening’
Tottenham will sell Steven Bergwijn to Ajax this summer after almost agreeing a deal for him in January.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Bergwijn, 24, has slipped down the pecking order at Tottenham following the arrival of Dejan Kulusevski in January.

He has only completed 90 minutes in the league since the turn of the year and was heavily linked with a move to the Dutch giants in January.
Wenham expects that move to happen in the summer and for Tottenham to make a profit.
“I really do think this will happen in the summer,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“They were only a couple of million away from making it happen in January.
“I think if it wasn’t for those goals against Leicester that move would have 100% happened.
“They were so important and at that time, Kulusevski hadn’t joined or settled at the club yet.
“I just look at Ajax and every single day it looks like another one of their players is set to leave in the summer.
“I think with the fire sale they are having someone could take the plunge on Haller which would give them the funds to sign Bergwijn from us.
“He can’t keep going off and being the star man for the Netherlands when he is fifth-choice at Tottenham.

“No hard feelings, he has had some great moments for Tottenham but it’s time for him to move on.
“I expect we can make our money back on Bergwijn and potentially a bit more with Ajax having a good Champions League run this season and they are set to recoup plenty of money from players like Ryan Gravenberch this summer.”
In other news, there has been a major update on Lucas Moura’s Tottenham future amid the latest on Dejan Kulusevski.
