Tottenham fans: Ange Postecoglou ‘will be sacked’ after Wolves ’embarrassment’
Tottenham fans are adamant Ange Postecoglou will be sacked following the “embarrassment” of their Premier League clash with Wolves.
Postecoglou’s side fell to a 4-2 defeat at Molineux after a first-half strike from Rayan Ait-Nouri and a Djed Spence own-goal sent the hosts into half-time 2-0 up.
The second half saw Mathys Tel pull one back shortly before the hour mark, before Jorgen Strand Larsen’s goal gave Wolves a two-goal advantage once again.
There was then late drama as Richarlison’s 85th-minute strike gave Spurs some hope of rescuing a point, but Matheus Cunha put the game beyond all doubt just one minute later.
Just two points now separate Postecoglou’s and Vitor Pereira’s teams, despite the latter having been battling against relegation for the majority of the season so far.
As a result, the travelling fans were left raging at the manager and the ongoing calls for his departure have grown louder yet again.

Tottenham to make Ange Postecoglou sack decision
Tottenham have now won just two of their last eight games across all competitions, and have dropped to 15th in the Premier League following Everton’s win on 12 April.
Former Spurs scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Postecoglou will be sacked if he fails to lift the Europa League come the end of the season.
Their dismal performance in the Premier League will be largely overlooked if the boss can lift a trophy, which would earn him a stay of execution in North London.
However, the pressure is not going away after yet another league defeat, and the manager’s position may now be untenable after a breakdown in his relationship with the club and the fans.
Meanwhile, Brown told Football Insider that Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola is Spurs’ top target to replace Postecoglou in the summer.
Fans call for Postecoglou to be sacked after ’embarrassment’
This is not the first time this season Tottenham fans have called for Postecoglou’s sack as pressure on the manager’s position continues to ramp up.
It is believed that failure to turn results around between now and the end of the season will see Postecoglou dismissed from his role.
Following the defeat against Wolves, fans have taken to social media to express their frustrations, labelling Postecoglou “the worst manager we’ve ever had” and “an embarrassment”.
