Tottenham fans demand ‘atrocious’ star’s exit after what he did vs Crystal Palace: ‘He doesn’t want to be here’

Tottenham fans have been quick to make their frustrations known again despite their team beating Crystal Palace 1-0 on Sunday.

The Lilywhites’ victory at Selhurst Park was just their second win in their last nine Premier League games, and served as a timely response after back-to-back defeats in recent weeks.

Archie Gray has had a mixed campaign for Tottenham so far, but he enjoyed a moment to remember against the Eagles as he scored his first professional goal with a flicked header from close range in the first half.

That proved to be enough to secure all three points for Thomas Frank and his men, but there were still some supporters who weren’t satisfied with the display.

Tottenham fans fume at ‘disinterested’ Randal Kolo Muani

Tottenham fans raved about Randal Kolo Muani after he scored twice and added an assist in their 5-3 Champions League defeat to PSG earlier this season.

That performance against his parent club has been the standout moment for the Frenchman, in what has otherwise been a disappointing loan spell so far.

Kolo Muani is still searching for his first goal of the campaign in domestic action, and has only started nine Premier League games after an injury-hit few months.

Frank opted to start the forward on the left wing for Sunday’s victory over Crystal Palace, but his performance drew criticism from supporters, who felt that his display lacked hunger and desire.

The attacker managed just 26 touches during the game, and failed to complete a single successful dribble or register a shot.

Tottenham fans took to X to express their anger towards Kolo Muani, with one fan demanding that his loan deal be terminated in January, while another branded him as “atrocious.”

There was also a suggestion that one fan had “never seen a player look so disinterested” during a game, while another labelled him the definition of a player who “doesn’t want to be here.”

Are Tottenham obligated to buy Kolo Muani?

Tottenham’s deadline-day move for Kolo Muani almost hit the rocks in the summer due to PSG’s desire to include a purchase guarantee as part of the agreement.

The two parties were locked in negotiations until the final hours of the summer transfer window, and the North Londoners were ultimately able to secure their desired outcome.

Spurs and PSG eventually settled on a straight loan deal, meaning that the loan club have no option or obligation to buy Kolo Muani at the end of the campaign.

That switch could obviously still take place if Frank and Co. see fit, but there is no plan for it as part of the current deal.

With that in mind, the Tottenham faithful will be delighted to know that they are not necessarily stuck with the forward on a permanent basis.
