Tottenham fans fume as fresh Archie Gray transfer update emerges
Archie Gray has impressed for Tottenham in recent weeks but it appears even that has now given their fans cause for frustration.
After initially having been made to wait for his chance since joining Spurs from Leeds back in the summer transfer window, the 18-year-old has shown his versatility by playing a range of roles for the first-team in the past few weeks.
Most recently he has been operating at centre-back alongside Radu Dragusin amid the injury-enforced absence of first-choice duo Mickey van de Ven and Cristian Romero, as well as back-up option Ben Davies.
Now though, the latest update on Gray in the wake of his performances in the centre of defence have not gone down well with Tottenham fans.

It is thought the solid run of form Gray has produced at centre-back has reduced the pressure on Spurs to strengthen at centre-back, meaning they are set to focus on their attack instead (Evening Standard).
Yet despite the impressive showings from the teenager, Tottenham have continued to struggle for results, and have often shipped goals in defence recently amid talk around their all-out style of play.
As a result, many Spurs fans were far from pleased with the idea that they may not look to sign a centre-back amid their struggles in that position given the apparent lack of desire to improve a squad that is currently underwhelming.
Indeed, many would even issue calls for action against chairman Daniel Levy’s running of the club as they took to social media to react to this update.
