Tottenham fans go crazy for 20-year-old after stunning display

Harry Winks delivered a superb display in Tottenham’s 3-1 Champions League win over CSKA Moscow – and fans took to Twitter to hail the emerging star.
The Spurs academy graduate, 20, played the full 90 minutes of the clash at Wembley on Wednesday night and looked at home in his central midfield role among elite company.
Goals from Dele Alli and Harry Kane, and an own goal from CSKA goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev, secured the win for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
It secured them third place in their Champions League group and a place in the Europa League knockout stages in the new year.
Winks, who was partnered in central midfield by Victor Wanyama for most of the match, was commended by supporters for his touch, vision and ability to control the tempo of Spurs’ play.

Winks has emerged as a regular member of Spurs’ squad this season and the fixture against the Russian side was his 13th appearance of the campaign in all competitions.
Spurs ended up as one of the four best third-placed teams in the Champions League groups, meaning they will be seeded for the last 32 of the Europa League when the draw is made next Monday.
