Tottenham fans rage as latest footage of Micky van de Ven controversy drops

Tottenham fans have raged at the decision of VAR to disallow Micky van de Ven’s goal in the 3-2 loss to Arsenal on Sunday (28 April).

The defender thought he had equalised in the 22nd minute of the match after the Gunners went ahead through a Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg own goal.

But after a lengthy VAR check at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the goal from the Spurs central defender was ruled out due to offside.

The Gunners then doubled their lead shortly after through Bukayo Saka, with Kai Havertz netting a third before half-time.

Cristian Romero and Son Heung-min scored second half goals for the home side, but it was the Gunners who left with all three points.
