'Jaw-dropping' - Fans rave about Tottenham player after he destroys Brazil legend

Tottenham fans took to Twitter to rave about Davinson Sanchez in the wake of his second appearance for Colombia on Tuesday night.

The £42million new signing played the full 90 minutes for his country as they held Brazil to a 1-1 draw in a World Cup qualifier clash.

One moment in the match particularly stood out, when Sanchez smothered a dangerous Brazil attack by brutally shoulder-barging Dani Alves off the ball.

The destruction of the 100-times international prompted Spurs face to take to social media and express their awe at the speed and strength of the central defender.

Colombia’s share of the spoils on Tuesday night kept them in second position in the South American qualifying group and on course to appearance at the finals in Russia next summer.
