'Majestic', 'A blinder' - Tottenham fans rave over one man's performance v Crystal Palace

Tottenham fans have turned to social media to rave over the performance of Eric Dier during the club’s victory over Crystal Palace on Sunday.

South Korean international Heung-min Son was the match winner for Mauricio Pochettino’s side at Wembley, curling home a sumptuous strike from just outside the box, with three points helping the club stay in touch with the top two in the Premier League.

However it was the display of England enforcer Eric Dier who caught the eye with a series of crucial defensive contributions, including several well timed tackles in the box.

Fans were impressed with what they saw from the utility man, who was playing at centre back rather than in the heart of midfield, and took to Twitter to sing his praises.

The 23-year-old has been a crucial part of Pochettino’s side this season, having appeared in every one of the club’s fixtures across all competitions this season, with all but two coming in the starting XI.

The 21-time-capped England star has a total of 151 appearances under his belt for Spurs, scoring eight goals and chipping in with seven assists.
