Tottenham fans react angrily to Richard Keys comments about the club
By Amir Mir
Richard Keys has mocked Tottenham after they missed the chance to close the gap on leaders Chelsea on Friday night – and fans on Twitter have destroyed him for his comments.
The former Sky Sports presenter suggested that Spurs are bottlers after they were beaten 1-0 away at West Ham.
That missed opportunity now gives Antonio Conte’s team the chance to be crowned champions if they win their next two matches.
They're Tottenham after all – exactly as we know it. What a pity. It's gone now. Congrats Chelsea.

However, the White Hart Lane faithful were not too pleased with Keys following his comments about Spurs.
One fan pointed out that his team have recorded 50 points out of a possible 60, but others only want to focus on their one defeat.

There is no doubt that Tottenham have the smaller budget compared to their rivals, with the likes of Manchester United, City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal, all having larger wage bills.
Added to that, two of the following from United, City, Liverpool and Arsenal, will miss out on a Champions League place at the end of the campaign.
At this moment in time, Jose Mourinho’s side will host Arsene Wenger’s team on Sunday afternoon in what will be a crucial fixture.
Nonetheless, Tottenham fans were clearly angry at Keys for his comments as one fan was fuming that he is able to spout such clueless garbage.
Another supporter believes that manager Mauricio Pochettino has built a young team which is on the up.
Overall, fans did no take too kindly to Keys hitting out at Tottenham, who have only lost one league match from their last ten outings.

Oh dear. Gone for the lazy route when so many respected football people are airing more apt, intelligent views. It's Richard Keys after all.

50 points from 60, the Tottenham as we know them. Focus on one defeat though to suit your narrative.

The only team chasing the team with no European football and not spent 100s mils trying to buy the league , young team on the up #COYS

Pathetic tweet. If it wasn't for them winning 9 in a row, there wouldn't have been a title race. The big spenders are the bottlers!

What have we done? Am I missing something? U can't blow or bottle something when u were never in a position to win it

You clearly don't know Tottenham very well if you think this is Tottenham as we know it
