Andros Townsend scored a brilliant solo goal against Stoke on Sunday – and Tottenham fans have had a mixed reaction to the strike on Twitter.
Townsend, 25, was sold by the north London outfit to Newcastle in January before joining Crystal Palace this summer for £13million.
The winger was sent out on loan to nine different clubs over the course of his seven-year stay at White Hart Lane before joining the Toon at St James’ Park.
Townsend picked the ball up on the half-way line on the 75th minute before running down the line, chopping inside and curling the ball beyond Shay Given in the Stoke net.
Some Spurs fans took the chance to celebrate Townsend’s first goal for the Eagles while others lamented the fact he had left the club.
Here is a collection of the best reactions to the goal on Twitter:

The forward has now bagged 33 goals and 45 assists in 234 career appearances since his break through campaign with Spurs in 2009.
Townsend is one of a number of former Tottenham stars to be finding success in the Premier League this term.
Jermaine Defoe, Nasser Chadli, Étienne Capoue and Heurelho Gomes have all enjoyed good spells of form since leaving Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Tottenham now face Gillingham and Middlesbrough before their crucial Champions League clash with CSKA Moscow on Tuesday 27th September.
