Tottenham fans react on Twitter to Eriksen display v West Brom
By Dominic Toner
Tottenham attacker Christian Eriksen played 90 minutes against West Brom – and the club’s supporters hailed his performance on Twitter.
Spurs recorded a comfortable 4-0 home victory against the Baggies and moved up to second in the Premier League table, meaning they are just four points adrift of leaders Chelsea.
Harry Kane stole the show with a stunning hat-trick as he continued his impressive goalscoring form, but Eriksen also played a starring role.
The 24-year-old got the assist for Kane’s first goal to put Spurs 1-0 up, before his deflected shot went in for a Gareth McAuley own goal.
Kane went on to score two more goals in the second-half and Mauricio Pochettino’s delivered a great performance.

Eriksen is one player that has benefited hugely from Spurs’ change of system, which allows him and team-mate Dele Alli to support Harry Kane more in attack.
The Denmark international is now recapturing his best form and has helped Spurs become a real contender for the title this season.
He now has five assists in his last four Premier League games and has become the perfect playmaker for the team.
