Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Wanyama has started every single Premier League game this season and has become a huge favourite since he moved to White Hart Lane.

The Kenya international completed his switch from Southampton in the summer transfer window and has been a crucial player for Spurs.

He managed to win his individual battle against two of the league’s most respected midfielder in N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic.

The midfielder provides the defensive cover in front of the defence and gives Spurs great discipline, while allowing their attacking players the freedom to punish teams.

Wanyama was recognised by the supporters for his solid efforts, despite the headlines going to his team-mate Alli.
