Tottenham fans react hilariously to reports Wilshere to miss rest of the season

Jack Wilshere will reportedly miss the rest of the season with a suspected leg fracture – and Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to mock bitter rivals Arsenal.
The Times report that Wilshere, who is on loan at Bournemouth, will be sidelined for the rest of the campaign after a CT scan revealed a minor crack in his left leg.
It is said he will visit a specialist this week and is expected to return to parent club Arsenal for yet another period of rehabilitation in his injury-plagued career.
Coincidentally, Wilshere suffered his latest injury last Saturday when he attempted to block a shot from Harry Kane during Bournemouth’s 4-0 hammering by Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
The boyhood Arsenal fan and academy product has a tempestuous relationship with Spurs fans and has publicly mocked the club for being in the Gunners’ shadows for so long.

Unsurprisingly, there was little sympathy from the Tottenham faithful on social media for the 25-year-old after his latest injury woe.

Wilshere has had a mixed season at Bournemouth, where he has been a regular for the club but has not quite hit the heights many had expected.
The 25-year-old joined Eddie Howe’s side on loan after slipping down the midfield pecking order at Arsenal, partly as a result of his injury troubles.
In other Tottenham transfer news, the club have sensationally terminated the contract of one of their defenders.
