'Right time to sell Serge', 'Get in' - Tottenham fans react to contract announcement
Tottenham fans have been reacting on Twitter after it was confirmed that Kyle Walker-Peters has agreed a contract deal with the club.
Spurs announced on their official Twitter account on Monday that Walker-Peters, 21, has extended his deal until 2021, adding a further year on to the three-year contract he signed last August.

This comes after Walker-Peters put in a massive shift against Leicester on Sunday, in which he supplied two assists as Tottenham won 5-4 at Wembley on the final day of the season.
In August, the full-back made his Premier League debut against Newcastle United at St James’ Park on the first day of the season.
He also bagged his first goal for the club in an FA Cup win over Rochdale.
It’s been a breakthrough season for the young Spur, and fans are absolutely delighted that he has agreed fresh terms.

The new contract is great news. For one thing it must mean that he’s been told he will get more chances in the first team. I think we can all agree that’s a good thing.

Walker-Peters has made nine appearances in all competitions for Spurs this season and given he now has a new deal, Mauricio Pochettino may be tempted to give him more chances next term.
However a likely option would surely be to send him out on loan to ensure that his development is not stifled in a squad that is already boasting a large number of full-backs.
In other Tottenham news, this £30million-rated jet-heeled attacker would be a stunning addition at Spurs’ new stadium for next season.
