'Hell no', 'I do not get this' - Tottenham fans react as club faves to sign £80K-a-wk PL ace reportedly
By Richard Parks
Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to express their frustration that their club are reportedly leading the race to sign Southampton left-back Ryan Bertrand.
The Express are among the publications that have claimed in recent days that Spurs are the frontrunners to land the 19-times England international.
There is also said to be interest from Manchester United, Wolves and Newcastle United, while the Telegraph claim Manchester City also want to sign Bertrand.

It is said that the 28-year-old is set to leave St Mary’s Stadium if they are relegated from the Premier League even though he signed a contract worth £4.2million-a-year in 2016.
Spurs supporters do not understand their club’s reported pursuit of Bertrand given that Mauricio Pochettino can already call upon two quality left-backs in Danny Rose and Ben Davies.

There has been intense speculation that Bertrand’s fellow England international Rose will quit this summer for a big-money fee, although Fulham sensation Ryan Sessegnon has been linked as a replacement.
Tottenham fans are not enamoured with splurging big money on Bertrand, with most claiming it would be a poor use of transfer funds.
