Tottenham fans have taken to social media to react to news that Mauricio Pochettino has chosen to start Danny Rose for the club’s clash against Bournemouth on Sunday.
The Lilywhites confirmed their starting line up via their official Twitter account, which confirmed that the Argentine boss had chosen to make three changes from the side defeated 2-1 by Juventus in midweek.

Ben Davies, Eric Dier and Kieran Trippier all drop out of the side to be replaced by Rose, Victor Wanyama and Serge Aurier, as Spurs look to leapfrog Liverpool into third place in the table after the Reds suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of fierce rivals Manchester United on Saturday.
Victory for Pochettino and his men would put them one point above Jurgen Klopp’s side after 30 games, as well as extend the lead over fifth placed Chelsea to five points in what is turning out to be a tight battle for a top four finish.
Of the changes made by the boss against the Cherries, it was the decision to start Rose, his first Premier League appearance since Boxing Day which had fans reacting on Twitter, with many feeling it had been too long since he last turned out.
Here, Football Insider has rounded up a selection of the supporters’ best tweets:

Spurs’ last Premier League game saw them defeat Huddersfield 2-0 thanks to a brace from Heung-min Son, while the reverse fixture against Bournemouth saw Christian Eriksen’s strike earn the Lilywhites a 1-0 win back in October, which was also their very first league victory at Wembley Stadium.
In other Tottenham news, Mauricio Pochettino has been at the centre of a huge Spurs dressing room bust-up.
