‘Solskjaer’, 'Unbelievable' - Spurs fans react after first-team star talks Juventus line-up

Tottenham forward Son Heung-Min has said that whatever the role he is asked to play by manager Mauricio Pochettino, he will accept it, even if that means sitting on the bench.

The South Korean has been in electric form throughout the current campaign but in the aftermath of Erik Lamela’s return to the team following a long-term absence, the winger has found his game time reduced to accommodate the Argentine.

But when asked about team selections ahead of the Juventus game on Wednesday night, the 25-year-old was quoted in the Telegraph as saying, “I have to accept it if the gaffer doesn’t choose me: I just have to be ready if I come on or if I’m on the bench. Football is a team sport, I have to accept it and be ready to help my team-mates”

With 15 goals in 41 appearances this season, the attacker has become a fan favourite for his ability to finish in front of goal as well as his professional attitude.

There are suggestions that Daniel Levy will hand the South Korea international an improved deal in the summer to reward him for his performances over the past two seasons.

But it is his positive attitude that has had supporters bigging the player up on Twitter and when fans heard the player’s latest comments, one stated that Heung-Min reminded him of Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer, who would often come off the bench for Manchester United to condemn their opponents to defeat.
