Tottenham fans react on Twitter to Chelsea defeat against Palace

Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to express their delight after Chelsea’s Premier League defeat to Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Spurs simultaneously defeated Burnley 2-0 at Turf Moor with a textbook away performance, while Chelsea succumbed to a 2-1 home loss to relegation-threatened Palace.

The results mean second-placed Tottenham’s slim hopes of winning the league title are still alive.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have narrowed the gap on the previously runway leaders to seven points to give hope they can cause a few tremors of panic in the Chelsea camp.

Supporter of Tottenham took to social media in the droves to reveal they were daring to dream and tell their bitter rivals the title race was back on.

Intriguingly, the next fixtures on Wednesday of next week could end with Spurs just four points behind Chelsea at the top.

Antonio Conte’s side host fourth-placed Manchester City, while Spurs have the seemingly easier task of travelling to 17th-placed Swansea.
