Tottenham fans react on Twitter after Lukaku reportedly rejects new Everton deal
By Harvey Byrne
Reports have emerged on Tuesday afternoon stating that Everton star Romelu Lukaku has rejected a new contract – and Tottenham fans on Twitter want the club to bring him in.
The powerful 23-year-old still has two years to run on his current deal, but as he continues to shine in the top flight the big clubs are circling.
It had been no secret that Everton had offered Lukaku a contract in an attempt to secure his future, but on Tuesday, Times correspondent Paul Joyce revealed on his personal Twitter account that the striker has told the Toffees he will not be signing a new deal.

This has caused a lot of speculation among the Premier League’s support and Tottenham fans are no different.
A number of Spurs fans on social media talked about the possibility of the club switching from their one up top formation to accommodate both Lukaku and Harry Kane.

Could we possibly play a 3-5-2? Reason I ask is Kane & Lukaku up top would tear defences apart! #COYS

people say Lukaku wouldn't accept being on the bench but Kane isn't made of steel. If we have 4 comps next ssn we need 2 STs

Maybe Lukaku likes the idea of joining his Belgium team mates Toby, Jan & Moussa at Spurs?

Lukaku is likely to have many clubs interested in him this summer after scoring a fine 20 goals in 29 appearances for the club this season.
But, after spending huge sums on flops Vincent Janssen and Moussa Sissoko last summer, the Tottenham board may reserve their money for a marquee signing this time around.
In other Tottenham news, Jamie Redknapp believes this Everton attacker, who isn’t Lukaku would thrive alongside Dele Alli.
