Tottenham fans react on Twitter as key player misses out on Swansea clash
By Matt Farr
Hugo Lloris has been forced out of the Tottenham starting eleven to face Swansea on Wednesday night – and fans on Twitter are shocked.
The France international goalkeeper is suffering from illness and is replaced in the starting line up by deputy stopper Michel Vorm, with Pau Lopez making the bench.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino made a total of five changes to his side following the 2-0 victory over Burnley on Saturday, with Kyle Walker, Mousa Dembele, Moussa Sissoko and Son Heung-Min also returning.
Midfield duo Victor Wanyama and Harry Winks both miss out through injury, while Vincent Janssen and Kieran Tripper drop to the bench.
Tottenham announced their confirmed line up on their official Twitter account ahead of kick-off.

Jan Vertonghen, Eric Dier, Toby Alderweireld, Ben Davies, Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli are the six players that retain their places following the win over Burnley on Saturday.
However, even with valid reasoning, it is the omission of the ever-present Lloris that has sent Tottenham fans on Twitter into a frenzy.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

At least Lloris is not injured just unwell. Wanyama will be a big miss tonight as well. Very weak bench as well #COYS

Lloris has missed just three Premier League games for Tottenham this season, but his absence hands Vorm an opportunity to make only his fourth league appearance.
A win for Tottenham can send them within just four points of Premier League leaders Chelsea with eight games remaining in the title race.
It would also see their winning run extend to five consecutive games, during which they have scored 11 goals and conceded just three.
