Tottenham were handed a home tie against Millwall in the quarter-final stage of the FA Cup – and Spurs fans on Twitter are very optimistic.
The north London club ensured their way into the late stages of the competition with a convincing 3-0 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday afternoon.
Meanwhile, League One side Millwall ran out a shock 1-0 victory with 10 men against Premier League champions Leicester.
However, Spurs fans on social media feel that their side will enjoy more success than the Foxes did, while others were eager to post about Millwall’s reputation for getting a bit heated.

Tottenham last met Millwall in 1990 in the old Divison One which ended in a 1-0 victory for Spurs through a Gary Lineker goal.
As also mentioned in the Tweets, Tottenham had to beat the Lions before going on to lift the famous trophy in 1967.
Both sides have history within the competition with Tottenham winning the FA Cup eight times with their last one coming in 1991.
Meanwhile, Millwall finished as runners up to Manchester United in 2004 where they fell to a 3-0 defeat against the Premier League giants.
In other Tottenham news, Harry Kane shared this Twitter message to fans after scoring a hat-trick against Fulham.
