Tottenham fans react on Twitter to Nacer Chadli display for West Brom
By Harry Sykes
Nacer Chadli failed to make an impact against former club Tottenham on Saturday – and Spurs fans on Twitter were grateful.
Chadli was named in the West Brom starting XI for the lunchtime Premier League clash at White Hart Lane but was completed overshadowed as Tottenham ran out 4-0 winners.
A Harry Kane hat-trick and an own goal from Gareth McAuley secured the three points for Mauricio Pochettino’s side as they continued their winning run.
Former Spurs winger Chadli scored West Brom’s goal when the two sides drew 1-1 in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.
But the £13million signing of last summer could not repeat the feat at the home of his former club and was substituted 61 minutes into the clash with his team two goals down.

Nacer Chadli delaying and losing possession inside the 18 while attacking. Seems oddly familiar. #COYS
