Tottenham fans react on Twitter to Sessegnon display in clash v Fulham
By Harvey Byrne
Young talent Ryan Sessegnon made a 34 minute cameo for Fulham in their FA Cup clash against Tottenham on Sunday – and Spurs fans on Twitter were impressed.
The 16-year-old left-back has attracted a lot of Premier League interest after breaking into the Fulham side this season and one of those teams has been the north London club.
The young teenager managed to show glimpses of his ability in his appearance off the bench at Craven Cottage and despite his side falling to a 3-0 defeat from a Harry Kane hat-trick he did leave the field with some praise from the opposition support on social media.
A large number of Tottenham fans were also eager to draw comparisons to current star left-back Danny Rose.
Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:

would love to see us sign Sessegnon. Imagine what Poch could do to his game looking at how much Rose has improved!

Ryan Sessegnon would be a good understudy for Danny Rose. #COYS

Think Sessegnon would be a great buy for us. Perfect player for Poch system. Loan him back next year

The match on Sunday marked Sessegnon’s 19th appearance in all competitions this season, bringing a return of four goals and three assists.
He is certainly a player of immense potential and given the ages of both Rose and Ben Davies at Tottenham, Sessegnon could prove to be the long-term full-back for Mauricio Pochettino’s team.
