Tottenham fans react on Twitter to Son display v Middlesbrough
By Harvey Byrne
Son Heung-min played 81 minutes in Tottenham’s 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough on Saturday evening – and Spurs fans were undecided on his display.
The South Korea international was a constant threat with his skill and pace and the Boro defence simply were not able to cope with him.
The 24-year-old did not trouble the score sheet with Harry Kane scoring from the spot, but it was Son who was fouled to win the penalty.
A large number of Spurs fans on social media were keen to comment on his positive display and many were eager to point out that he was behind a lot of Tottenham’s attacks.
However, some did feel he was often too quick to go for glory himself instead of finding a teammate.
Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Son has played in 29 matches for Tottenham in all competitions this campaign, bringing a return of 11 goals and five assists.
He has already bettered his debut season, where he returned with just eight goals and five assists in 39 matches in all competitions.
The attacker will now be keen to continue his good form as Tottenham remain in the title race.
