Tottenham fans on Twitter were disgruntled with their side’s January business after the window slammed shut on Tuesday evening.
The north London club are sat in a lofty second place in the Premier League table with just nine points separating them from league leaders Chelsea.
However, fans were still eager to see their team improve their depth in the winter window and supporters specifically wanted a striker.
But, manager Mauricio Pochettino seemingly disagreed with these views with no players making the switch to White Hart Lane in the winter.
This caused a backlash from supporters on social media, especially after also drawing 0-0 with relegation battling Sunderland on the same night.
A number of fans were quick to air their sarcasm over the window, while others aired their complaints.
Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter.
At times it annoys me Spurs didn't dip into this transfer window, then I think of Sissoko

Really really daft of Spurs not to do anything in the transfer window. Same mistake as last season. #COYS

We have needed a proper 2nd striker for three years, poor management.

Tottenham very rarely venture into the January market with their last winter signing coming in the form of star Dele Alli from MK Dons in 2015 for £5million.
The club are still well in the race for the elusive Premier League title and they will face Middlesbrough on Saturday before a top of the table clash at Anfield against Liverpool a week later.
