Tottenham fans slate 22-year-old for his performance against Watford
By Amir Mir
Vincent Janssen played 60 minutes for Tottenham as they beat Watford 4-0 on Saturday afternoon – and fans on Twitter have slated him for his performance.
The 22-year-old started the match, alongside versatile attacker Son Heung-Min, with start man Harry Kane returning to the bench after injury.
However, during the early period of the first half, right-back Kieran Tripper produced a number of brilliant crosses for the Dutchman, who failed to find the back of the net.
On one occasion he missed an open goal as his shot rebounded off his knee onto the crossbar as he missed another similar chance minutes later.
As you would expect, the White Hart Lane faithful were not too pleased with their player who has struggled for form this season.
