Tottenham fans have rallied on Twitter to urge the club to sign Sunderland forward Jermain Defoe.
The 34-year-old goal machine is currently a crucial member of the Sunderland squad and has been in sensational form for them this season.
He has scored 14 goals in 30 appearances this campaign and is the main driving force behind their fight against relegation.
Defoe was rewarded for his form on Thursday as he was recalled to the England squad by Gareth Southgate.
Spurs fans have urged Mauricio Pochettino to re-sign Defoe, who has already had three spells at White Hart Lane during his career.

Spurs are facing a forward crisis at a pivotal moment of the season as Harry Kane faces an extended spell on the sidelines with an ankle injury.
That means Pochettino is likely to turn to attacker Heung-Min Son, with summer signing Vincent Janssen struggling to make the desired impact at the north London club.
They now face a tough battle to finish inside the top four this season and many fans feel they are too short in terms of their striker options.
Defoe, who turns 35 in October, is the player they want to come in during the summer to boost the squad.
He is a familiar face at White Hart Lane and has racked up 358 appearances for Spurs, scoring an impressive 139 goals in return.
