Tottenham favourites to secure Antonio Rudiger deal, talks underway for free transfer
Tottenham are currently the favourites to sign Antonio Rudiger as he could leave Real Madrid on a free transfer this summer.
The former Chelsea centre-back is out of contract at the Bernabeu at the end of the season, and the possibility of a return to the Premier League looks to be firmly on the cards.
Tottenham have already emerged as the surprise favourites to land Rudiger for next season, with one major bookmaker even pricing the Lilywhites at odds of just 2/1 to secure his signature.
The likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Juventus are also seen as possible destinations for the German defender, while a fresh deal at Real Madrid is also viewed as a possibility.

Spurs have already begun working on Antonio Rudiger swoop
Rudiger will face no shortage of suitors if he ultimately does leave Real Madrid at the end of the campaign, especially considering that no transfer fee would be necessary to land him.
Tottenham have emerged as the early leaders in the race to secure his signature, and the fact that they are currently seen as the most likely suitor for him is for good reason.
The North Londoners have opened talks for the 32-year-old already, according to CaughtOffside, while their fellow capital clubs West Ham and Crystal Palace have also followed suit.
Rudiger’s gametime in Spain has been limited so far this term, as he has made just eight league appearances, and that lack of football has prompted suggestions that he could soon take on a new challenge.
Spurs view him as a player who could provide “immediate stability” with his leadership, and they are keen to add him to their centre-back group.
Tottenham set to learn Scott McTominay fate imminently
Football Insider revealed last week that Napoli are closing in on a contract extension for midfielder Scott McTominay, despite recent interest from the Premier League.
Spurs and Manchester United have both been keen to bring the Scotland international back to the Premier League in the summer, but they now look set to see their efforts thwarted by his current club.
McTominay’s current deal in Naples is not due to expire until the summer of 2028, and Napoli are now edging ever closer to handing him another lucrative extension that would secure his future.
Tottenham have been long-term admirers of the 29-year-old, but any genuine attempts to bring him through the door this summer look set to fall by the wayside.
