Tottenham handed huge boost ahead of crucial Watford clash
By Matt Bullin
Tottenham Hotspur have been given a huge boost ahead of their match with Watford this weekend as Hornets boss Walter Mazzarri has claimed his side ‘do not have a defence’.
These comments come as centre-backs Younes Kaboul and Sebastian Prodl are both set to miss out as they recover from hamstring and rib injuries respectively.
Miguel Britos will also be unavailable to Mazzarri as he is suspended, however defender Christian Kabasele is set to return to the side after two months out.
The Italian boss told the Daily Mail: “Britos was important because Kaboul and Prodl were injured and we do not have a defence now.
“It’s our destiny. Against Tottenham, we are always in an emergency. But I’m happy that despite all the injuries we are still going strong.”

Watford’s injury woes will no doubt be a huge boost to Mauricio Pochettino’s side who will be looking for a sixth straight Premier League win on Saturday.
Tottenham consolidated second place in the Premier League with a 3-1 win over Swansea on Wednesday night.
Dele Alli, Son Heung-min and Christian Eriksen all bagged for Spurs to keep their slim title chances alive.
Tottenham now sit seven points adrift of Chelsea at the top of the league, with just eight games left, while they are now five points clear of Liverpool who have played a game more in third.
According to Mazzarri, Etienne Capoue, Valon Behrami and goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes are also doubts for the Hornets who beat West Brom 2-0 last time out.
This news will no doubt be music to Spurs fans ears as they look to close the gap on Chelsea with a win on Saturday.
