Tottenham ‘happy’ to sell Steven Bergwijn to Man United after update – expert
Tottenham should not hesitate over selling Steven Bergwijn to Man United this summer.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
On Thursday (14 April), The Daily Mail reported Erik ten Hag wants to make Bergwijn, 24, his first signing as Man United boss.

The winger was heavily linked with a transfer to Ten Hag’s Ajax side in January but a move failed to materialise.
Wenham claims Spurs would not be strengthening a rival if Bergwijn was to move to Old Trafford.
“If they are going to offer the money then I have no issues selling to them,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“I have seen him in the Premier League and I would still sell him in the summer as I have said many, many times.
“I think we can make some money on him. Man United’s potential interest could lead to Ajax coming forward earlier with an offer.
“There is the Ten Hag link but I still see him joining Ajax this summer. I have no interest in this ‘selling to a rival’ thing.
“I imagine the club would just be happy to sell him, it’s not like he instantly weakens us and makes them so much stronger.
“We deemed him not good enough for us, so if they want to pay the money then fine.”

Bergwijn scored two last-gasp goals to turn a loss into a win against Leicester City on 19 January.
He also scored off the bench as his side beat Newcastle 5-1 on 3 April.
In other news, Kevin Campbell has named the three Tottenham players who will clinch their top-four finish ahead of Arsenal.
