Injury expert: Conte has 'real issues' at Tottenham amid source's training ground reveal
There are “real issues” to be sorted out at Tottenham – so every minute Antonio Conte has with his players at the training ground is valuable.
So says injury expert Ben Dinnery, who runs the Premier Injuries site and has a background in medicine and data analysis.
A trip to Burnley on Monday (28 November) represented an opportunity for the Italian to pick up his second league win.
But heavy snowfall meant the match in East Lancashire was postponed hours before kick-off.
A Spurs source told this site the following day (29 November) that Conte demanded his players immediately fly back to London to undergo training.
Dinnery claims that Conte’s decision was probably the right one given the challenges he faces in North London.

He told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams: “When you’re preparing, everything is geared around that 90 minutes of football. ‘
“When that doesn’t happen, getting players out on the pitch and doing training work isn’t going to do any harm.
“We know how hard Conte trains his players. Even the players who are on the bench will go through some routines just to make sure they hit their levels.
“There’s no hiding place. He leaves no stone unturned. There are real issues at Tottenham. We know that from comments he has made.
“There are problems around fitness and sharpness. So every opportunity you get on that training pitch is valuable.”
Tottenham face Brentford on Thursday this week (2 November).
They will be without Cristian Romero and Giovani Lo Celso, who are both sidelined with injuries.
