Tottenham experts jet out on French transfer mission for international enforcer - Sky Sports journalist
Tottenham are in the hunt for Lille enforcer Yves Bissouma, according to a reliable journalist.
Sky Sports News assistant news editor Lyall Thomas claimed on his personal Twitter account and on West London Sport’s website that Spurs are eyeing up Bissouma, 21, as a potential long-term replacement for Mousa Dembele.

It is understood that Spurs’ scouts have jetted out on a transfer mission to France to keep close watch over Bissouma, who was the subject of an enquiry from Inter Milan in the summer.
As well as the 12-times Mali international, Tottenham are also keeping tabs on Valencia loanee Geoffrey Kondogbia.
Spurs recruitment experts will no doubt have seen that Bissouma has been in and out of the Lille first-team this season, making 12 appearances across all competitions.
Although he is regularly used as a midfield enforcer, he is quite versatile and can also star at right-back and even on the right-wing.

Football Insider Verdict
Dembele has had his injury struggles recently but he certainly isn’t worse now than he has been in the past few seasons – if anything he is better. Spurs may well be searching for a long-term replacement for the Belgian international, but it should not really be their priority at the moment. Mauricio Pochettino could do with extra strength in depth in the attacking areas of his side and may also need a new left-back given the controversy Danny Rose has caused lately. The North London side are pretty well stocked in the centre of midfield and any move for Bissouma now or even next summer could see him move to Tottenham and not get much football.
In other Tottenham news, a manager has confirmed he has been in talks over a January deal for this Spurs defender.
