Tottenham idol fears 29-year-old could follow Steven Bergwijn out the exit door after journalist’s update
Paul Robinson has urged Tottenham not to allow Lucas Moura to follow Steven Bergwijn out the exit door this summer.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former White Hart Lane number one said the club would be “hard pushed” to replace Moura, 29.
According to Fabrizio Romano (27 June), Ajax’s main target this summer is Steven Bergwijn.

Tottenham are open to offers for the Netherlands international who has struggled for game time under Antonio Conte.
According to The Telegraph‘s Matt Law (24 June), Spurs would be open to Lucas Moura moving to Everton if they complete the signing of Richarlison.
When asked by Football Insider if allowing both Lucas and Bergwijn to leave would be a mistake, Robinson said: “It will be interesting to see.
“You can understand why Bergwijn is going to go. He is a player that I rate but he has had a lack of opportunity at Spurs.
“It is just unlucky. There is only so many forward players you can keep happy in a squad.
“You know what you are going to get from Lucas Moura. You would be hard pushed to replace him. He gives everything when he does play. He has that mentality.
“If Lucas is happy staying at Tottenham you keep him as long as you can. He is a great player for the club.”

Lucas contributed six goals and eight assists in 45 appearances last season.
He has 12 months left on his contract.
