Tottenham idol issues ‘brilliant’ claim after ’embarrassing’ Dejan Kulusevski reveal
Paul Robinson has heaped praise on Tottenham winger Dejan Kulusevski’s “great mentality” after the final day win over Norwich City.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former White Hart Lane number one was impressed by the 22-year-old’s second goal at Carrow Road.
Kulusevski scored a brace in a 5-0 win over the Canaries on Sunday.
His second goal came just moments after he spurned a glorious chance.
Speaking to BBC Sport (22 May), the Sweden international revealed he was “embarrassed” by his second-half miss and was determined not to end the season on it.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs for his thoughts on Kulusevski’s performance, Robinson said: “To score that goal after the miss just goes to show that he has a great mentality.
“We know that Son [Heung-min] and [Harry] Kane are telepathic in the way that they work and the way that they play.
“He was a bit-part player at Juventus but he has come into another big European club and become a mainstay. His mentality and ability are brilliant.
“He has taken Spurs onto another level in an attacking sense. When you look at their numbers as a trio they are up there with the best in Europe.
“Kulusevski has complimented Kane and Son. He has helped Son get the Golden Boot.”

Kulusevski has excelled for Spurs since joining from Juventus in January.
He has contributed five goals and eight assists in 18 Premier League appearances.
