Tottenham idol issues ‘huge’ verdict on Harry Kane’s future after Sky update
Paul Robinson has claimed “it would be huge” if Harry Kane put pen to paper on a new long-term contract at Tottenham.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former White Hart Lane number one said Antonio Conte’s arrival has turned the tide in north London.
Kane has little over 18 months remaining on his contract with the Lilywhites.

The centre-forward was the subject of numerous bids from Man City in the summer of 2021 but the Premier League champions have since signed Erling Haaland.
According to Sky Germany, via The Spurs Web (6 December), Kane’s future will be decided on how Spurs perform this season.
When asked by Football Insider is he expected Kane to put pen to paper on a new deal next year, Robinson said: “It would be huge for Spurs if Kane signed a new deal.
“He made his intentions pretty clear in the summer before last. It looked as if there was a good chance he would leave.

“But, since Antonio Conte’s arrival things appear to have changed. I think he can see that the team is heading in the right direction. I think he believes there is now a real possibility of winning silverware at Spurs and I agree.
“Hopefully he puts pen to paper on that new contract and we can see him in a Spurs shirt for many more years. He’s been incredible for the club.”
