Tottenham insider: Conte could U-turn on Dele Alli transfer after ‘brilliant’ development
Dele Alli has given Antonio Conte something to think about after turning in an impressive performance as Tottenham drew with Liverpool.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Alli, 25, started and impressed as Tottenham drew 2-2 with Liverpool on Sunday (19 December).

This came after a Tottenham source told Football Insider the club are willing to let the midfielder leave during the January window as he does not feature in manager Antonio Conte’s plans.
Spurs would consider, loan, loan-to-buy or permanent transfer options.
Wenham suggested that Antonio Conte could change his mind about selling Alli after his performance yesterday.
“I thought Dele Alli was very, very good,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“He caused a lot of indecision in Liverpool’s play in terms of the positions he took up.
“He was a real menace on the pitch and created a few chances as well.
“That was really good to see because it’s been reported that he is set to leave Tottenham.
“On that basis, I was really surprised to see him starting but he put in a brilliant performance.
“He won’t have done himself any harm in convincing Conte he is worth another shot.
“Or, if that’s not on the cards, he’s done well in the shop window.
“He put a message out after the game saying he was happy to be back out, I think you could see that in his performance.”

Alli has now made 15 appearances for Tottenham this season.
He has scored two goals.
In other news, an insider has named six Tottenham youngsters set for first XI selection after a ‘brilliant’ development.
