Tottenham insider: Kane is about to make Souness look 'very silly'
Graeme Souness and Roy Keane’s criticism of Harry Kane’s performance during Tottenham v Chelsea was “unfair”.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channel.
Speaking on Sky Sports after Sunday’s game, Keane and Souness criticised Kane’s body language.
Keane simply exclaimed “oh my goodness” when describing Kane’s contribution.
The England captain has now failed to score in four Premier League outings for his side this season.
Wenham claims Kane is going to make Keane and Souness look “very silly” by returning to his best in the near future.

“I feel so sorry for Harry Kane,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“Ever since Eriksen left, he’s had to take it upon himself to create chances for his teammates.
“He’s also good enough to lay off his teammates for someone to then assist him.
“His numbers last season prove that. He won the golden boot and got the most assists in the league.
“Kane is absolutely outstanding, the best out and out forward in world football for me.
“He often starts the season slowly. It’s rare he scores in the first month of the season.
“I had hopes he would come back after playing with England and scoring a great goal against Poland would enable him to do that for Tottenham.
“The team performances have been have been poor. The criticism of Kane is unfair, he expects help.
“I think it’s only a matter of time before he starts scoring again and people who have written off Kane in the past have always been made to look very silly.”
