Tottenham insider ‘very concerned’ after ‘massive’ Oliver Skipp news

The lack of updates on Oliver Skipp’s injury is very concerning for Tottenham fans.

That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.

Skipp, 21, has not featured in the Premier League since 23 January after breaking down with a groin injury.

Speaking on Skipps’ injury (11 March) Conte is quoted by Football London as saying, “I am really worried”.

He also admitted he cannot give a return date with Tottenham facing a busy end to the season.

Wenham is very concerned with this development.

“I’m getting a little bit worried about this, to be honest with you,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“We aren’t getting any solid updates from the club about this. It’s just that he’s not available.

“We don’t know anything, there is no timescale on his return which is never a good sign.

“It’s a massive blow that he has already missed so much of this season because he has been one of our better players.

“I can only hope he returns as soon as possible because if he’s fit, he starts.

“Hopefully we hear some news on this soon because, as I say, I’m pretty concerned.”

Skipp had made 18 league appearances this season before picking up his injury.

He firmly established himself as a starter under both Nuno Espirito Santo and Conte after spending last season on loan at Norwich.
