Tottenham player ratings against Leicester: Duo are 4/10
By Amir Mir
Football Insider rates the Tottenham players out of ten after they recorded a 6-1 against Leicester City on Thursday night at the King Power Stadium.
Hugo Lloris 4 – Up until his mistake, the shot-stopper had kept the home team at bay. His decision to come out of his penalty area for Leicester’s goal was a mistake, but the tackle in itself was brilliant but costly to him keeping a clean sheet.
Eric Dier 7 – Kept things simple, didn’t do anything spectacular, nor did he make any mistakes. Great squad player.
Toby Alderweireld 8 – Calming influence at the back and has a brilliant eye for a pass. His ball over the top in the first half led to his team opening the scoring.
Jan Vertonghen 8 – Just like Alderweireld, it is great having Vertonghen at the back. Chilwell’s goal was not his fault but other than that he dealt with the constant balls over the top from the home team.

Moussa Sissoko 4 – Unable to provide the threat on the right-hand side. The attacker is lacking confidence and more than likely needs a summer move.
Victor Wanyama 8 – Bossed the midfield, broke up play, played simple passes throughout the game and ensured his side controlled the game.
Mousa Dembele 8 – Pochettino opted to bring him back into the starting XI and his return was a good one. At times, it was very difficult to get the ball off him. He complements Wanyama well.
Ben Davies 6 – Just like Dier, he did his job defensively and battled well throughout the match.
Dele Alli 7 – Even on his off day, he can still spark magical moments. His chip for Son’s goal was brilliant.
Son Heung-Min 9 – Underrated and hugely effective. Son’s versatility in the final third gives him the ability to link up with all of his fellow attackers. His second goal was the best goal on the night.
Harry Kane 10 – Brilliant performance from Kane, who was a problem throughout the night. He deserved his four goals and showed why he is one of the top strikers in the league.
In other Tottenham news, Jamie Carragher has stated that this 24-year-old attacker is exactly what the club needs.
