Tottenham were knocked out of the Champions League at the round of 16 stage as Juventus came from behind to secure a 2-1 win at Wembley.

The tie was finely poised after the first leg, with Spurs themselves having to rescue a result from a losing position with a 2-2, and Mauricio Pochettino’s men knew that a 0-0 or 1-1 draw would be enough to progress.

It started well, the Lilywhites looking threatening as they looked for the goal to give them control of the clash, and the pressure paid off when Kieran Trippier’s cross was converted by the in-form Heung-min Son to give them the lead.

However they could not hold in in the second half, and goals from Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala sunk Spurs’ hearts at Wembley.

So how did each of Tottenham’s stars get on in the clash?
