By Harvey Byrne
Football Insider rates the Tottenham players in their 1-0 defeat against Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Hugo Lloris 8 – The goalkeeper made some good saves throughout the match and could not have done anything to prevent the goal.
Kyle Walker 7 – Walker matched the runs of Anthony Martial going backwards, while also making some good forward moves.
Toby Alderweireld 6 – Made his return to the team after suffering an injury in October, but he was caught cold by Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s goal.
Jan Vertonghen 7 – Dealt with the powerful Zlatan Ibrahimovic at the back well and helped limit United to just one goal.

Danny Rose 6 – Made some good runs going forward, but struggled to cope with Mkhitaryan’s pace at times down his flank.
Victor Wanyama 5 – Struggled against United’s attacks and gave away some needless fouls. Should have scored with a free header in the second half.
Mousa Dembele 5 – Gave a silly free kick away on the edge of the box in the second half and was fortunate Paul Pogba was only able to strike the crossbar.
Christian Eriksen 6 – The Denmark international helped to link-up play, but lacked the killer final pass.
Son Heung-Min 4 – The 24-year-old wasted possession on numerous occasions and was rightly brought off on the 57th minute in a tactical switch.
Dele Alli 5 – Struggled to make any meaningful passes in the match and is ultimately one of several reasons why Spurs failed to score.
Harry Kane 5 – The striker gave away possession too easily in the middle of the park for the goal, while also wasting possession in the final third with pot shots.
Moussa Sissoko (for Son 57mins) – 6
Harry Winks (for Dembele 67mins) – 6
Georges-Kevin N’Koudou (for Eriksen 83mins) – 6
