Tottenham player ratings v Manchester United: Pochettino must sort this star out

COMMENT By Russell Edge

Tottenham will be ruing their missed chances after they suffered a bitterly disappointing 1-0 defeat to Manchester United on Saturday.

Anthony Martial’s second half strike, after joining the action off the substitute’s bench, was enough to secure the three points for Jose Mourinho’s side, in what could prove to be a crucial result in the Premier League title race.

It has seen United climb three points ahead of Spurs and within two points of league leaders and local rivals Manchester City, who will be looking to extend their lead with a win over West Brom on Saturday.

If Pep Guardiola does manage to guide City to three points, it would see them go eight points ahead of Tottenham in third after 10 games, demonstrating just how big a blow their defeat to Manchester United will be.

So how did the Spurs stars get on at Old Trafford?
