Tottenham player ratings v Stoke: Son, Kane awesome but two mainstays an awful 4/10
Forwards
Christian Eriksen (Attacking midfielder) – 7: A good performance from the attacking midfielder who has been much-criticised recently. Brilliant finish into the bottom corner for the fifth. Forced an outstanding save from Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland late on.
Dele Alli (Attacking midfielder) – 4: A good pass for Son’s goals but overall a disappointing display from the England international. Poor first touch, gave the ball away far too often in midfield. Was replaced by Erik Lamela midway through the second half.
Son Heung-min (Attacking midfielder) – 9: Brilliant. The 25-year-old ran the show for Tottenham and got the goal his man-of-the-match performance deserved with an emphatic low finish.
Harry Kane (Centre-forward) – 8: Missed a great chance to put Spurs 2-0 in the first half, but made up for it with two goals after the break. A great header at the far post to make it 3-0, before a clinical finish.
