Tottenham could only manage a 1-1 draw against managerless West Bromwich Albion at Wembley on Saturday, with several key players not performing at their best.
Spurs fell behind to a shock Salomon Rondon goal in the third minute after Davinson Sánchez’ attempted challenge was easily shrugged off by the striker.
Harry Kane scored in the second-half to earn Tottenham a point, when he converted Dele Alli’s perfect cross, but this wasn’t a vintage Spurs performance.
Mauricio Pochettino will not be happy with the performance of his team and their inability to break down a spirited West Brom defence.
WBA have been struggling in the Premier League this season, and recently sacked manager Tony Pulis, yet they were anything but a pushover here.
