Tottenham player ratings v WBA: Poch mainstay a shocking 3/10 in Wembley draw

Goalkeeper and defenders

Hugo Lloris celebrates as Tottenham keep their title bid on track

Hugo Lloris (Goalkeeper) – 5: Let a soft shot by Salomon Rondon beat him, and then didn’t have much else to do for the rest of the game.

Kieran Trippier (Right-back) – 6: Tried to break forward as often as possible, hard to argue that the defender did anything wrong, and he went close to grabbing an assist as he put a superb cross in towards Harry Kane in the second-half.

Davinson Sanchez (Centre-back) – 4: Easily shrugged off the ball by Rondon for WBA’s first goal, then got caught out again later in the game and was lucky to have Vertonghen cover him.

Jan Vertonghen (Centre-back) – 5: Didn’t seem to do much wrong, took a nasty looking knock when covering a Sanchez mistake, was sacrificed for Fernando Llorente on the 61st minute mark.

Ben Davies (Left-back)- 4: Didn’t get many opportunities to get forward, and hardly had any defending to do as Spurs dominated possession, but somehow still managed to nearly assist a West Brom counter-attack late on.
