4/10 enforcer must be axed – Tottenham player ratings v Liverpool

Midfielders

Centre holding – Eric Dier: 5/10 – Gifted Liverpool their first goal with a tame backpass, and was not comfortable during the game in the early stages.
Centre holding – Mousa Dembele: 7/10 – In the first half was almost unplayable, held the ball well as he always does and offered a range of passes going forward. Subbed off in the 79th minute.
Centre attacking – Dele Alli: 6/10 – Has looked a bit lost this season, not the same player he was a year ago. Was out muscled by the Liverpool defenders in the first half, came alive in the second half with more up tempo play. A shocking dive got him booked.
Left Wing – Heung-Min Son: 7/10 – Works his socks off every week, and today was no exception. Son was enigmatic from the start and caused a lot of problems going forward.
Right Wing – Christian Eriksen: 7/10 – Probably the only silver lining from the Gareth Bale money. Eriksen, like Son, was hard to deal with, and his extensive range of passing was hard for Liverpool to cope with.
